CHICAGO (AP)—Michael Martinez(notes) hit a tiebreaking two-run double with two out in the ninth inning, and the Philadelphia Phillies rallied to beat the Chicago Cubs 4-2 on Tuesday night. Starlin Castro’s(notes) two-run homer off Cliff Lee(notes) in the first inning held up until Philadelphia chased Matt Garza(notes) in the eighth, and Chase Utley(notes) tied with a two-run double against Sean Marshall(notes). The winning rally started with a two-out single by pinch-hitter Ben Francisco(notes). Jimmy Rollins(notes) drove a hard smash off third baseman Aramis Ramirez’s(notes) glove, putting runners on first and second, and Martinez drove them in with a bloop double off Marshall (5-4).
